This was the weekly Photo Challenge from my Facebook group.  There’s been some interesting challenges this year, but this was, by far, the weirdest.  I mean, how do you photograph someone, or something, levitating? Well, as it turns out, there’s a couple of ways…

This one was taken outside today before it started snowing, again.  It was freezing.

Levitation 2

I superimposed the image of me ‘floating’ onto a different background.  Easier said than done.  Apparently this is quite easy with new version of Photoshop.  My version is old and it took about forty minutes of playing around.

The first photo is a timed shot and I had to jump just at the right time, and look as if I wasn’t jumping.  A cup of tea always helps in these situations.

I hope you like them.  There are some ‘How To’ videos out there if you want to give it a try.    I must admit, I was very dubious at first, but ended up having a lot of fun.  Thanks to my Photo Challenge group, I can now imagine myself floating across Lake Ontario with a cup of tea…
