A Mish Mash

We had a busy weekend in the kitchen, but today was so beautiful that we spent most of it outside.

We did make number 4 of the Bake Off challenge; Multi-seed Crackers, but they weren’t very nice.

It was supposed to be a mix of whole wheat flour and semolina; however, I have no idea where to find semolina. It’s certainly not a common commodity. Anyway, the crackers were really hard and tasteless. We made some Olive Oil Biscuits instead from Jamie Oliver’s Food Escapes.

These are so good. We make them regularly.  We also made a huge lasagna yesterday.

It was so heavy I could barely lift it out the oven. That was the cooking part of the weekend and this is the outdoor part.

We hope your weekend was as good as ours.
